Cyser is a rare style of cider made by fermenting apple juice and honey. Often also referred to as an apple mead. Mead is honey wine, typically made by adding water to honey to dilute it, and then fermenting it. With an apple mead or cyser, the honey is instead diluted with apple juice and fermented.

    In some cases, cyser is made by blending a cider and mead that have finished fermentation.
