Domaine Dupont (Normandy, France)
One of the world's most renowned cidermakers, Domaine Dupont has 74 acres of orchards in Normancy, France in the heart of the Pays d'Auge region. They grow 6,000 trees of more than 13 different apple varieties that are all well adapted to the Pay d'Auge terroir.
Etienne Dupont took up the reigns of the family estate in 1980, and he and his late son, Jérôme, made Domaine Dupont a world-recognized name in French cider, Calvados, and pommeau. Drawing inspiration from the best techniques used for cognac and the grands crus, Etienne Dupont has studied, experimented, and refined his production techniques to reach the level of elegance and expression of the best wines.
