Rose Hill Farm & Ferments - Ashmead's Kernel Cider (750 mL)
Rose Hill Farm & Ferments - Ashmead's Kernel Cider (750 mL)
Rose Hill Farm's Ashmead's Kernel is a single varietal sparkling cider, made from Ashmead's Kernel -- a sweet-tart heirloom apple first discovered in Gloucester, England in the early 1700's and now a favorite for cider-making on both sides of the pond.
Apples grown by nearby Indian Ladder Farms, fermented in stainless steel and bottled petillant naturel. Rested on the lees for over 20 months before being riddled and disgorged. A wine-like cider; sharp, high acid, and great effervescence. Off-dry with a tart punch.
