Rose Hill Farm & Ferments - Pomquette Rouge (500 mL)
Rose Hill Farm & Ferments - Pomquette Rouge (500 mL)
Rose Hill Farm's Pomquette Rouge is a cider-kin / piquette wine hybrid. A wild-fermented fermenting sparkling apple-grape wine. Made by rehydrating pressed grape skins and stems using a low brix cider (light sugar content in the juice). The low sugar cider is a bi-product of Rose Hill's cryo-extract process for their Ice Cider. Fermented naturally then aged in oak and bottle conditioned with fresh apple juice. Raw, unfined and unfiltered.
Dry and tart with delightfully fresh notes of newly jarred jams, rose petal, and rose hips. Stunning baking spice and herbal aromatics. Like a sour apple spritzer with nice grape fruitiness to it.
Serve at 35-55 degrees in a wine glass.
