Albemarle CiderWorks - Harrison (750 mL)
Albemarle CiderWorks - Harrison (750 mL)
Albemarle's Harrison is a single varietal cider made with 100% Harrison apple variety. Considered by many to be the finest cider apple variety to originate in the United States, the Harrison apple dates back to the 1700s in New Jersey. It has moderate phenolic character, high natural sugar (16-18 brix) and very high acid which yields a balanced finish (rare for a single varietal). The cider is viscous and vinous - a dry cider with notes of orange blossom and apple peel which are rounded out by notes of honeydew. Full bodied with medium acidity and a light, bitter tannin.
