Baumans Cider's Strawberry Mojito is made by blending fermented apples with estate strawberries and infused with fresh mint. This cider is semi-dry, fresh, and deliciously juicy with strong strawberry aromatics.
From Christine Bauman: I decided to blend the strawberries with mint for this cider, in part because I am a huge fan of cocktails made with a generous muddling of mint, but also simply because the two crops abound with color and flavor in the late spring/early summer here in the Willamette Valley. I like the balance of the refined vegetal minty-ness with the all-out, no holds barred passion of strawberries.

Strawberry aromatics, mint, lemon; semi-dry; light-medium body; citrusy dry finish, with an herbacious astringency.
Why we love Bauman's Cider: Bauman's Cider is an award winning cidery based in Oregon's Willamette Valley, just south of Portland. Christine Walter is a fifth-generation farmer and the head cidermaker at Bauman's. Bauman's Farm in Gervais, Oregon was originally homesteaded by her Great-Great-Grandmother Elizabeth and her sons Stephen and Leo in 1895. In the early 1900’s, Stephen began making cider on the farm for family and friends alike to enjoy. Upon learning of her family's history of making cider, and armed with a degree in biochemistry, Christine has revived her Great-Grandpa Stephen’s legacy by blending modern cidermaking with heritage methods using fruit grown and harvested on their own farm, and in partnership with other orchardists in the region.
The fruit grown in the Willamette Valley is highly regarded and makes for some excellent cider. Bauman's Cider includes four distinct product lines that range from juicy and modern, to traditional and nuanced. Whether you prefer traditional ciders or modern, flavored ciders, Bauman's Cider truly has something for everyone! Their traditional ciders are amongst some of our favorite American ciders, and include a series of single-varietal ciders and artfully crafted blends.
