Dwinell Country Ales - Russet Dry Cider (16 oz)
Dwinell Country Ales - Russet Dry Cider (16 oz)
Dwinell's Russet Cider is a dry cider made in the pét-nat method. This fresh release in 2024 is a blend of Winesap, Jonathan, and Roxbury Russet apples harvested in 2023 from Oregon's E.Z. Orchards. Wild fermented for upwards of 100 days in stainless steel tanks at refrigeration temperatures. This slower ferment also allows for the natural sedimentation of pectin to occur without the use of lab-derived clarifying agents or application of mechanical filters. Prior to the end of fermentation, resulting in a fine, natural carbonation to develop in package - a traditional method commonly known as pétillant natural or “pét-nat.”
This year's release is delightful - dry cider with tropical notes, a nice mouthwatering acidity, and a lush mouthfeel and softness from the yeast.
