Eric Bordelet - Cormé 2021
Eric Bordelet - Cormé 2021
A truly unique and special beverage made entirely from multiple varieties of cormier fruit, also known as the Service Fruit Tree, Sorbus Domestica, or sorb. Sorbs are related to apples and pears. They are yellowish and red in color and golf-ball sized.
Cormé is a 15th century beverage mainly present in the former province of Main in France. It was consumed as a beverage commonly in Main until the 1950s. Eric Bordelet has restored this old drink to modern taste with his version of Cormé, which is a delightful, unique beverage that stands up to any fine wine or cider.
