Wolfkin Cider - Sigrid Botanical Cider (500 mL)
Wolfkin Cider - Sigrid Botanical Cider (500 mL)
Wolfkin Cider's Sigrid is a botanical cider infused with white spruce tips. Made with a base of dry cider made from foraged apples, rested on the white spruce needles for one month. This cider has just a touch of perceived sweetness with a light forest flavor from the young spruce tips. Nice aromatics, and flavor notes hint of fresh apple, lemon, rosemary, and the perfect touch of evergreen. It's like a breathe of fresh forest air.
Why we love Wolfkin Cider: Wolfkin Cider is a small batch producer based in Seattle. Their cidermaker, Steven, forages apples from throughout the city and surrounding areas, and makes very small batches of cider at his home-based winery in Seattle, where he has converted his small 1-car garage into his cider production space. Wolfkin makes a fun range of ciders, including a single-varietal cider from fruit grown on the lone apple tree in Steven's front yard, fun apple & pear blends, and a host of nice botanical and other flavored ciders that are always done in great balance. You'd be hard pressed to find a cidery smaller than Wolfkin - some of his cider batches are as small as 3-gallons a piece! Steven has begun to plant his own estate orchard of cider apples and perry pears in Enumclaw. A hand-crafted labor of love, thank you for supporting his and our small business. Wolfkin ciders can be found seasonly at the North Bend farmers market, at a few retail accounts in Seattle, and are exclusively available online via Press Then Press.ย
