Western Cider - Strawberry Dolgo (12 oz)

Western Cider - Strawberry Dolgo (12 oz)
Western Cider Company's Strawberry Dolgo is a small-batch cider made from whole strawberries and Dolgo crabapples. Thoughtfully crafted, this is far from the fruit flavored ciders that are flavored with syrups or purees and overly fruity. Aromatics of crisp apple and fresh strawberry, honey, and orange blossom. Medium-sweetness (nearly semi-sweet). Bright and tart with crisp, fresh apple vibes and the perfect amount of strawberry.
Strawberries from Fresh Roots Farm in Polson, Montana and Dolgo crabapples form Western Cider's own orchards. Often grown by orchardists as a pollinator, the Dolgo crab apple is lovely in ciders.
This limited release cider is normally only available in the cidery's tasting room. A small amount of it was made available to us for inclusion in the Northwest Cider Club - sign up today and get your hands on this lovely summer sipper.
About Western Cider Company: Founder Michael Billingsley and his wife Arielle planted a cider apple orchard in 2010 in Montana's Bitterroot Valley - an area with a rich apple history. Inspired by traditional cider cultures from around the world as well as modern American cider styles, Western Cider Co. is committed to making cider for everyone - from easy-drinking to complex, affordable and high-end, traditional and experimental. Their traditional ciders are crafted using cider apples from their own orchard, neighboring orchards in the Bitterroot Valley, and apples gleaned through their Community Cider Collaborations. Their easy going ciders use apples from their neighbors to the west - Oregon and Washington. One of the few ciders in the U.S. who makes a wide range of both modern and classic cider styles, all done exceptionally well.
