Liberty Ciderworks - Kingston Black Single-Varietal Cider (750 mL)

Liberty Ciderworks - Kingston Black Single-Varietal Cider (750 mL)
Liberty Ciderworks' Kingston Black is a single-variety cider made from the famed cider apple. Originating from the U.K., the Kingston Black apple is now one of the most popular apples for traditional cider by cider makers from around the world - beloved for it's complexity and balance of aromatics, flavors, acidity, and tannins.
This batch from Liberty Ciderworks is the 2024 vintage (year in which fruit was harvested). The apples were grown by Century Steep Orchards in Othello, Washington.
Tasting Notes: Dry cider, high in tannins (bitter), medium acidity. Fruity flavors and aromas mingle with oaky notes derived from the fruit itself. Light bodied with tasting notes of crisp apple skins, citrusy, and a palate cleansing minerality that dries out the finish.
About Liberty Ciderworks: Liberty is one of the absolute best cider makers in the Pacific Northwest - and America for that matter. Based in Spokane, Washington, they gather nearly all of their fruit from three tiny, family-run orchards in Eastern Washington that grow apple varieties with cider in mind. Soil and climate play major roles, as do the native yeasts they allow to ferment their ciders. Employing “natural wine” methods in all of their ferments, Liberty never filters their ciders and allows each orchard’s native yeast to work its magic. Their approach is inspired by global styles and traditions, but reflects their own apples, landscape, and culture. It’s a philosophy expressed in everything they produce, and it’s one we think you’ll really enjoy. Most of their ciders will be particularly appealing to fans of English style ciders.
