Bauman's Cider's Endless Harvest Cider is one of our absolute favorite releases from Bauman's over the last few years - and that's saying something! Recently, this cider won a gold medal in the high-tannin dry cider category, and tied for runner-up as the best overall cider in the NW Cider Cup (2024). In fact, it was the first cider in the competition's history to score an agreed perfect 50 from the judges.
Head cidermaker Christine's vision for this cider was ambitious: she asked her team to come up with the perfect cider blend that would pair well with fine dining experiences - or most any food for that matter. One that could be offered year-round based on their available ciders to blend (Bauman's ferments most of their cider as single varietals and creates their blends post-fermentation). After a few trial batches, they settled on this blend. Some tears of joy may have come out when the result was the first perfect score at the NW Cider Cup.

Why we love Bauman's Cider: Bauman's Cider is an award winning cidery based in Oregon's Willamette Valley, just south of Portland. Christine Walter is a fifth-generation farmer and the head cidermaker at Bauman's. Bauman's Farm in Gervais, Oregon was originally homesteaded by her Great-Great-Grandmother Elizabeth and her sons Stephen and Leo in 1895. In the early 1900’s, Stephen began making cider on the farm for family and friends alike to enjoy. Upon learning of her family's history of making cider, and armed with a degree in biochemistry, Christine has revived her Great-Grandpa Stephen’s legacy by blending modern cidermaking with heritage methods using fruit grown and harvested on their own farm, and in partnership with other orchardists in the region.
The fruit grown in the Willamette Valley is highly regarded and makes for some excellent cider. Bauman's Cider includes four distinct product lines that range from juicy and modern, to traditional and nuanced. Whether you prefer traditional ciders or modern, flavored ciders, Bauman's Cider truly has something for everyone! Their traditional ciders are amongst some of our favorite American ciders, and include a series of single-varietal ciders and artfully crafted blends.
