Eden Specialty Ciders - Harrison (750 mL)
Eden's Specialty Cider's Harrison is a single-variety cider made from Harrison apples, an American Heirloom apple variety originally from New Jersey. This apple was long ago beloved by early American cider makers, then thought to be lost for generations before being rediscovered - and now making it's triumphant return as one of the more popular and beloved apple varieties for cider making.
This clean, balanced cider is highly sparkling for a perfect celebratory libation or for fall & winter meal pairings.
The apples were grown by Cobble Knoll Orchards, in Benson Vermont. Fruit from the 2024 harvest season. Spontaneous fermentation, fermentation arrested to leave residual apple sweetness.
Tasting Notes: Delightful aromas of apple butter and clove. Drinks semi-dry, perhaps a touch sweeter with rich, balanced fruit character. Notes of fresh apple, juicy acidity, and fresh orange and lemon up front; met by a tropical rush mid palate of dried pineapple and nectarine notes. Floral hints of orange blossom and honeysuckle.
Pair with roast chicken or turkey, eggplant casseroles, grilled cheese.
This cider is featured in the Press Then Press Cider Club's recent release (Winter 2026) and is reserved for club members. Join now to get this delicious cider along with a mix of other single-varietal ciders.
