Son of Man - Sagardo Cider (750 mL)
Son of Man - Sagardo Cider (750 mL)
Son of Man's Sagardo is a Basque style cider made in the Hood River area of the Pacific Northwest. Sagardo means "cider" in the native language of the Basque Country in Northern Spain, home to one of the world's greatest and longest standing cider traditions.
This 2024 vintage (fruit harvest year) of Son of Man's Sagardo includes the following apple varieties: 40% Domaines, 30% Jonathan, 30% Karmijn de Sonnaville. Fermented naturally in a giant oak foeder. Bottled still (uncarbonated). Traditional to many Spanish cider brands, this bottle's cork seconds as a pour top for you to long pour gulpable splashes of cider into your glass.
Bright and balanced, with notes of tart apple, banana, papaya, clove, and orange peel.
From Son of Man: Sagardo means “cider” in Eurskara, the Basque language. Sagardo (pronounced suh-gar-doe) is Son of Man's flagship cider. It’s a Pacific Northwest homage to the ciders we all love so much from Basque Country. This cider is fermented and aged in giant oak foeders. Bright, balanced, bad ass. The way you always wanted cider to taste. Fermented spontaneously. No added sulfites. This vintage has delicious notes of banana, papaya, clove & orange peel. The pour top cork adds theater to the meal, allowing you to long pour from higher heights.
