Art and Science's Quince Cider is back! This sparkling Quince wine is made from 100% quince, including organically grown quince from their own farm and foraged quince from old farmsteads in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Naturally fermented (wild, native yeast), barrel aged for 13 months, and then bottled as a Pét Nat.
Quince is in the pomme fruit family with apples & pears. It's rare to see a quince cider made 100% from quince, more typically it's a single-digit percentage of the overall juice blend in a cider. Made zero/zero, natural wine & cider making philosophies. Nothing added (no added sulfites or fining agents), nothing removed (no filtration). The only ingredients are quince and time!
Tasting Notes: A fragrant and flavorful drink, designed for the adventurous drinker- I HIGHLY recommend trying it with a good blue cheese or manchego, it's such a fun way to experience this drink.
